Cir4Fun Showcases Furniture Data at the REUSE Economy Expo
Putting theory into practice is at the heart of the project. Recently, Cir4Fun took to the stage at the REUSE Economy Expo, setting up camp inside the dedicated “DPP Village.”
Represented by project partner CEA, the team welcomed a wide range of visitors to the booth stand, all eager to see how data transparency will shape the future of the furniture industry.
The main event at the stand was a live showcase of the Digital Product Passports (DPPs) currently being developed for Cir4Fun’s three sample pilots. From manufacturers and policymakers to sustainability enthusiasts, visitors from across the sector were keen to get a proper look at the specific types of data expected to be included in a furniture DPP.
Events like the REUSE Expo are invaluable for testing ideas in the real world. By sharing these pilot frameworks directly with stakeholders, the project moves another step closer to creating a traceable, reliable, and genuinely circular furniture sector.
